Alicia joined the beauty industry back in 2004. Over the years she has been a small business owner, balayage educator, and an enthusiastic lifelong student of the industry. She’s taken countless classes from some of the best educators in the industry, most recently completing her Invisible Bead Extensions certification. Non hair related, she has a degree in Community Psychology from the University of Washington.
Originally from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, she has a love of natural, healthy beauty. She advocates for and specializes in low maintenance, lived-in hair coloring techniques and loves dry cutting. She has exclusively focused on this esthetic for years and spent time refining her services to reflect that. After owning her own business in Washington for almost 7 years, she moved to San Diego in July 2022. She’s excited to join the talented community of stylists here and meet new, fantastic clients.
She believes in building relationships with her clients and setting them up with home care plans, including products, styling tips and ongoing maintenance for what is created in the chair. If you’re looking for someone who will honestly guide you on your hair journey and can be your right hand hair girl, she’s it!
When Alicia’s not behind the chair you can find her out exploring all that San Diego has to offer, finding a morning Pilates class or a new favorite coffee shop. She enjoys reading, beach days, golden retrievers and being “the cool aunt”.
